Product Description If you can't fix a bike problem with the Park Tool Advanced Mechanic Tool Kit, then you probably have no business working on your own bike. This set rivals most bike shops, and it includes a tool box to keep everything from disappearing behind your bench. Need to work on your bottom bracket, tune a wheel, change a flat, swap forks, open a brew? No problem. OK, so the Park Tool Advanced Mechanic Tool Kit doesn't include a bottle opener, but you should be able to figure something out. Try the pedal wrench.

Home mechanic's dream September 6, 2010 didirider Another one for my husband's present. He felt really spoilt with this tool set. There are enough tools in the box to keep him busy for a few years of bike repairs for his hobby.
Not sure why there's the screwdriver set since that's usually included in anyone's regular tool set. The allen keys are in the tri set, which is a pain to use in tight spots. Wire cutter cuts really smoothly and easily. I haven't really had the chance to use most of the tools yet!
We had a small problem with the chain breaker the first time it was used. The pin broke under normal pressure, which was unexpected given Park Tool's reputation for quality products. The Park Tools service didn't let us down though. When we emailed them about the pin, they responded the same day and offered to replace the pin. Great service!
Tool Kit for a Novice May 27, 2010 Robert L. Rosenberg (Minneapolis, Mn.) Even though being a novice mechanic I purchased the Park Mechanic Advanced Tool Kit for working on bikes, I found it to be very usefull. If I ran into problems I just went to my Bike store and got help from them. This worked out really well and allowed me to totally disassemble my bike. I am looking forward to cleaning all the parts and reassembling the bike. I would recommend this tool kit as a basic need because it supplies so many tools that one needs to work on a bike.
Every serious bicyclist should own these tools May 13, 2010 Andrew Wallenstein As an avid bicyclist who has cycled in many of the eastern United States as well as Canada and Central Europe, I heartily recomend this tool set.

I'm a bike shop employee of over a decade now, a bike aficionado, and beginning framebuilder. I bought my Park AK-37 kit in 1999, and it's been worth every penny. Could I have just dragged my bike to the shop to work on it with their tools? Sure, but giving myself the ability to work from home was an important step forward in my life as a cyclist.
The AK-37 will provide every tool you need to perform basic maintenance on your bike, and is worth every penny. Thus far, my tools have held up to years of use (and abuse), and I have nothing but praise for the kit. If you're just getting started with setting up your own bicycle workshop, this is an excellent way to go.
park tool ak-37 tool kit February 7, 2010 chrisbike (PHOENIX, AZ, US) i am very pleased with the item. this tool kit gave me nearly every tool i needed to get started with cycling again (i chose to add a 4th hand and a 13 piece allen wrench set because i wanted these items). i wish they had added citrus chain brite also. overall, i am very pleased with this kit and would recommend it.
