Great lock @ a great price. August 30, 2010 Paula T. Nasuti Great lock at a great price, and the lock was very simple to reset the combo as well.
Great! July 19, 2010 Critical Works wonderfully. No complaints here. Easy to use product, well worth the value when compared to your bike or bike rack missing off your car!
too easy to reset April 8, 2010 Mike The Geek (Nashville, TN United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This looked like a well built product, but the combination was too easy (at first, seemed too difficult) to reset, and resulted in me inadvertently changing the combination rendering the lock unusable. I tried giving it another chance and tried to find the combination (only 9999 total shouldn't take too long, right?) but gave up and returned it.
The cable seemed well built and the directions were clear enough, but the reset mechanism was so simplistic it was too easy to trigger accidentally. I feared this would happen out on the road, so back it goes.
Great lock for a short stop December 27, 2009 Krishna N (Milwaukee WI) This is a great lock for taking along when going biking. I use it when I stop in between my rides, say, for lunch. I would certainly not use it for securing the bike outside overnight - that is not what it is meant for.
perfect small lightweight lock November 15, 2009 em (pittsburgh, pa) Like the first reviewer, I gave this 5 stars because it is exactly as described. I actually purchased this lock for backpacking. I shopped around and this is the lightest one I could find. Anyone who has had to carry their gear knows that every ounce counts! This lock is a great tool to keep in a pocket of my pack for when I sleep at a hostel or just want to set down my bag for a little while and make sure it's secure. I also plan to use this lock when snowboarding. It's light enought to toss in my bag and use while stopping for dinner on the slopes.
