This is by far the nicest wicker basket I have found. It's huge and heavy duty. I can't express enough about the quality of this basket. Features a pivot quick release bracket which allows the basket to easily be adjusted for different style handlebars to make the basket level. Basket is reinforced with metal rods on the bottom and has a heavy duty handle for easy carrying from your bicycle to your home. Basket has a glossy finish with a neat looking pattern. Wonderful basket for any style bicycle. Comes with all mounting hardware. The basket measures a very huge 17" W X 12" D X 10 H". Made by Electra.

I happened to buy this directly from Electra [...], I received it within a week of payment; the basket was exactly as described. It was a little tricky putting it on but only because the directions aren't the best. My townie didn't need to use the extra rubber clamps that come along with it; which is supposed make latching on the quick release to easier... but it only made it more difficult. Basically; there's no space. It took roughly about 15-20 mins. And I had no help.... If you take your time you'll get it on with no problem. It's very sturdy and you'll have the option to lower and elevate it to your desire. I was able to put a bottle of water, a magazine, a sandwich and a bag of clothes, along with my phone, keys and ipod; without any problems. I received a lot of complaints... and cars seemed to yield the way. :)

I recently ordered this item. The basket is great looking. Unfortunately, when it was shipped the mounting hardware (piece that fits onto the bike handlebars) was not included in the shipment. When I contacted amazon about this issue, they had me call Electra directly. Fortunately, Electra was willing to send me the missing part. However, the woman on the phone indicated that I got the "last one." Thus, the next shopper might not be so lucky. I would recommend ordering directly from the company.
