Good bag but weak stitching September 7, 2010 kalpax (El Cerrito, CA United States) I've had this bag for just over a year. The stitching is breaking, as another reviewer has also noted. Luckily topeak is sending a new bag to me.
The bag itself is pretty good. I find the zippers work open. This is mounted on a mountain bike.
Too small for almost anything....review are for medium size not small September 3, 2010 J. Whitton (Amarillo, TX) This bag is small small small.
But my real problem is that the reviews ( almost all of the 46 ) are for the medium size. I guess I could have noticed when I bought it. But why would Amazon put all the the Medium size bag reviews under the Small bag page?
Disappointed - Design flaw for durability August 28, 2010 Lolopass 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've been riding with this wedge for less than a year, with about 1,700 miles of use. I researched extensively and was willing to pay a few extra $ for a higher quality product. At first was very happy with the wedge and its size, quality, and feel. I was very disappointed when I noticed a seam coming apart after about 7 months. There is a thin plastic(?) insert in the bag keeping the wedge stiff from the opening along its top that aligns perfectly with the top seam by the opening. The swinging of the wedge that comes from normal riding and hill climbing will cause this stiff insert to rub against this seam breaking it down. Its just a matter of time. 7 months is not what I would consider acceptable product durability. This is my second bad experience with a Topeak product. There won't be any more opportunities for a third.
Great Wedge! July 26, 2010 Desecreight This wedge is the perfect size for all of your cycling needs. It fits my Topeak Alien II tool, a spare inner tube, and a CO2 tire inflator comfortably. Yet it's small enough to fit directly under the seat without taking up any extra room or sticking out on the sides. I recommend the Wedge with the buckle straps and not the clip because you have to buy another mounting bracket and it doesn't even look very sturdy. All in all the Topeak Aero Wedge Pack with Buckle (Medium) is certainly the best out there!
Stitching is weak July 26, 2010 aaron 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have less than 100 miles of use with this bag. The stitching is coming loose and there's a hole worn near the start of the zipper. The bag hasn't held up to the abuse of mountain biking.
